Unfortunately, Sen. Raymond Finney, R-Maryville, has removed the resolution from a list of resolutions that is expected to get unanimous support in the Senate.

Sen. Finney revealed, “It’s not something I want my name on.”

Republican senators took issue with calling attention to Timberlake’s latest album, “Future Sex/Love Sounds” and to song titles like “Sexy Back” and “Rock Your Body.”

A call to the publicist of Justin Timberlake was not immediately returned. The singer was scheduled to perform a concert in Uniondale, New York.
