On growing up, the “Whataya Want From Me” singer lacked of confidence. Fortunately, Adam evolved into what he really want to be in his early 20s. Perhaps he learned that he needed to have a pride to know he was unique.

Being a performer, the singer feels good about himself so that he was able to cope from the feeling of being unattractive.
