Angelina Jolie took Brad Pitt to meet Iraqi refugees in Syria. This visit will be an aid mission as part of her role as a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations’ refugee agency, UNHCR.
Angelina, who had a rare chance to spend time together with Brad, revealed that the Iraqi refugees need a continued support from the International community because most of them had severe trauma and felt uncertainty over Iraqi election, the security issues and the lack of basic services
The celebrity couple visited two families in Damascus’ poorest suburbs before meeting Syrian President Bashar Assad to discuss the Iraqi refugee crisis.
