An autopsy indicated that Boyzone singer Stephen Gately died of natural causes — having fluid in the lungs.
A post-mortem was released on Tuesday. Aside from the fact that the Irishman died of pulmonary edema or fluid in the lungs, there were no signs of violence to the body. His remains could now be flown home.
Meanwhile, Stephen Gately’s family’s lawyer revealed that they are happy the Boyzone singer did not die as a result of “foul play”.
