Perhaps the romantic angst of vampires in “Twilight” triggered another vampire film as the Summit Entertainment is developing an action-oriented remake of Dracula.
The remake is called “Vlad,” which has the script written by 29-year-old British actor Charlie Hunnam. Negotiations are being made with music video director Anthony Mandler to direct the project.
Brad Pitt is going to be producer of the film alongside Dede Gardner via the duo’s Plan B Entertainment production company. The actor has a bit of experience with vampires himself, having starred in 1994’s “Interview With the Vampire.”
