Hayden Panettiere admitted that she was fed up with constant media rumors regarding on her love life.

The “Heroes” star was frustrated and claimed that any guy whom shw is seen with is automatically linked to her or assumed to be her boyfriend by the press.

She added that she can’t have any friends. And described the situation as absurd. It really affected her when the press analyze her body language.

Hayden Panettiere has been the center of dating speculations as the rumor suggested that she and “Entourage” actor Kevin Connolly are an item but she quickly denied the rumors.

The “Heroes” star was seen at the Neutrogena Fresh Faces Event at Los Angeles on Saturday (September 26). She insisted that she knew Kevin for so long and they are just friends.

Romance speculations circulated after Hayden and Kevin were seen together chatting all evening at HBO’s post-Emmy party on Sunday.

Hayden Panettiere is the latest star showing interest in the Footloose remake.

The Heroes star has auditioned for the role of Ariel Moore in the updated movie musical based on the ’80s Kevin Bacon classic, according to E! News.

Panettiere sang for filmmakers and director Kenny Ortega. Although the star, 19, has actually recorded songs for various soundtracks and even released a pop single, “Wake Up Call,” last year, E! reports that “they were really impressed — no one realized what a good singer she is.”

If she gets the part (there are reports that Dancing With the Stars’ Julianne Hough is also being considered), she might be singing and dancing opposite Gossip Girl’s Chace Crawford.

Crawford, who has expressed interest in film’s title role previously held by Zac Efron, hasn’t officially signed on yet.

The headlines in the past few weeks have been a bit rough toward Hayden Panettiere, with one magazine accusing the Heroes star of lashing out at a reporter during an event in Hawaii and with sources revealed on-set tension between her and former boyfriend Milo Ventimiglia.

However, when there was a chance to get Hayden’s side of both stories, we jumped at the chance.

“I have tremendous respect for the media and reporters – particularly the press who treat the people they are interviewing with dignity,” she says. “I am appreciative that the press has supported me, my career, and especially the causes I feel passionately about. While in Hawaii, one reporter grabbed me suddenly from behind and frightened me. It happens. Typically, the press has treated me with great respect.”

Approaching various media outlets, she snapped again: “You all make my life miserable” and refused to answer any questions.

After the red carpet, Panettiere hung out in a private cabana with Justin Long and his brother. She then moved to a private dining room, where she and Long sat across from one another, chatting for more than an hour.

According to a report, the owner of the Suffern, New York, club, NV, the Heroes star, 19, approached the main bar, ordered a drink and was asked to show her ID. The bartender saw that she was under 21, confiscated her license and escorted her and her friends out of the bar.

Hayden was reportedly crying when she tried to get her ID back. She denied to authorities that she tried to buy a drink at the club. Police asked the club owner to return Hayden’s driver’s license.

The club owner says the Heroes star is “welcome to have dinner at NV, but to party you have to be over 21.”

Hayden Panettiere has a message for the new administration and other governments around the world: “Lessen the amount, if not completely get rid of whaling. Because it’s unnecessary.”

The Heroes beauty addressed the audience at the eco-friendly Green Ball gala, which was presented by Discovery’s Planet Green. Accompanied by her equally animal-passionate mom, Leslie.

She revealed that she’s already brought her personal mission before President-elect Obama, saying: “I’ve actually talked to him about it before. He was raised in Hawaii, so I think he would agree with me about [protecting marine life].” Then she added: “[But] I’m not going to speak for him.”

Hayden said she’s currently working on a documentary with the Whaleman Foundation as she continued: “There’s movement [on this issue] every day — just generating awareness, which is the best way to stop it because a lot of people are unaware of what actually goes on.”

What’s the best way young people can help to save the whales? She replied: “They can write to their government. That’s the best thing in the world that they can do.”

While Hayden cited Japan, Norway, and Iceland, as whale-killer culprits, she noted that the U.S. is not an innocent. She also said: “And they can also educate themselves, and talk about it on savethewhalesagain [site].”

What if you’re not particularly moved by the whales’ plight? Well, Hayden asks you to consider this: Consuming whale meat may be as common as eating hamburgers in places like Greenland, but “it’s so highly contaminated with mercury and toxins. Their skin’s not like ours. Like, we eat garlic and it comes out of our skin; they retain everything.

She added of whale hunting: “So it’s not only bad for them. But it’s also bad for the human beings who aren’t told by their government that that’s what happens.”

Hayden Panettiere, who is the Candie’s spokesperson, took five girls from the Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles to Kohl’s in San Gabriel on a shopping spree at the weekend..

The “Heroes” star accompanied five girls, who are currently being treated at the medical facility for problems including aneurysms, strokes, paralysis of the nerves and spine and sickle cell anemia, on a shopping trip San Gabriel department store Kohl’s on Saturday (13.12.08).

Although Hayden Panettiere tried to give the group fashion advice, the kids had their own opinions on which outfits they wanted to choose with the money they were given.

The 20-year-old actress laughed: “Not many of them listened to me!”

She is no stranger to charity work. Her determination to save dolphins from slaughter in Japan led to a warrant for her arrest being issued in the country.

Hayden previously revealed starring in “Heroes” encouraged her to use her fame for the greater good as she added: “The series put me in a place to speak for things that I’m passionate about.”
