Keira Knightley appeared to be affected with the rumors that she is anorexic after she is considering getting pregnant to dispel the rumors.

The skinny “Duchess” star has always insisted that her lack of curves is down to genetics and has nothing to do with how much she eats – or doesn’t eat.

In a recent interview with Canada’s National Post newspaper she declared: “That’s a good reason to have a kid. They won’t say I’m anorexic anymore. S*it, I’ve got to have a child.”

She explained: “I can’t win. One week I’m anorexic and now my curves are too big. I mean really? It’s a joke. Am I too tall, too short? Well I’m sorry I’m me. It’s so predictable to be asked about it, but to me it’s not appropriate.”

The “Good Shepherd” actress defeated Natalie Portman to take the number one spot, which is previously held by Keira Knightley, while Brad Pitt was seventh.

More than 20,000 people visited the movie magazine’s website to cast their votes, with no restrictions on whether the star was still gracing the screen.

James Bond himself, Daniel Craig, headed up the British contingent in third position and was also the highest-ranking male, ahead of Pirates of the Caribbean star Johnny Depp, Pitt in seventh and 300 actor Gerard Butler in tenth.

Jessica Alba was named the fourth sexiest while Craig’s co-star in both Casino Royale and his new film The Golden Compass, Eva Green, was named in sixth.

Keira Knightley, Christian Bale, Kate Winslet, Orlando Bloom, Kate Beckinsale and Clive Owen were among Brits to be named in the top 25, while the growing maturity of the Harry Potter stars proved appealing to voters.

The actress seemed willingly stripped down for the latest cover of the magazine and sat for an interview with Tim Blanks to talk about her new film “Atonement”.

As for her new film “Atonement”, she was asked, there’s the loss of a girl, the loss of a woman, the loss of a love. Which did you relate to the most, the actress replied, “All of them. That’s the power of it. Everybody has regrets. Everybody feels guilty about something, though hopefully not for something as bad as what happens in the movie. But that’s what is wonderful about the book and the film–you understand where these people are coming from. The situation may be completely different from ones I’ve experienced or that most people have experienced, but the core emotions are the same–that we all make mistakes, and sometimes we’re horrendous to each other.”

The actress has a new film “The Duchess,” which is expected to hit theaters in 2008. The Duchess is a movie based on Amanda Foreman’s biography of the Georgiana Cavendish, Duchess of Devonshire.

The actress plays the role of Georgiana, a scandalous 18th-century English aristocrat. “The Duchess” is now to be directed by Saul Dibb. BBC Films and Pathé will finance the film.

James McAvoy, has revealed that he hated shooting sex scenes with Keira Knightley for a new movie “Atonement”. It is because he found them “sweaty and uncomfortable”.

The 28-year-old actor admits he dreaded filming the raunchy sequences with his co-star, saying, “(Sex scenes are) always a nightmare. It’s never easy and it’s always a little bit sweaty and uncomfortable.”

The actor continued, “When they call action, if you feel the lady’s breast, it’s your decision to feel the lady’s breast. It’s like, this is wrong. You have no parameters.”

And as Keira Knightley was just as embarrassed about disrobing in front of her co-star, the pair apologized to each other afterwards.

The Pirates of the Caribbean actress allegedly branded Britney Spears a “slut” after she was photographed flashing her underwear earlier this year.

But the “Toxic” singer laughed off the comments and said, “Who’s Keira Knightley? I guess she must need the publicity.”
