Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony showed no signs of marital trouble when they shared a duet at the Western Ball Tuesday evening.

Before Lopez joined Anthony on stage for his last number, he called her “my wife” and kissed her. They then belted out a love ballad in Spanish. During the song, the two often gazed into each other’s eyes.

After the duet, they kissed again.

“Man, she’s cute,” he said of Lopez, who wore a one-shouldered, white draped gown with flashes of gold.

Earlier in the night, Anthony also gushed about Lopez.

Before performing “You Sang to Me,” he told the crowd, “I wrote this next song about Jennifer” 10 years ago. He then added, “I must have been psychic.”

“She didn’t get the point,” said Anthony, who had dated Lopez before, split with her and then married her, years later, in 2004, “but eventually it worked.”

In early December, Lopez appeared at the premiere for “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” without her 8-carat engagement ring, wedding band or even her husband, who is generally photographed by her side.

According to reports published last month, Marc Anthony was spotted just one week before that without his wedding band.

So what was the reported reason for their alleged split? A magazine at the time cited several, including Marc’s controlling ways and his alleged wandering eye.

Another report also suggested that Lopez was unhappy just being a “Long Island housewife” and blamed Anthony for the demise of her career as a box-office star.

The source added: “They’re definitely planning a clean break in February.”

Since twins Max and Emme were born 10 months ago, J-Lo, 39, has competed in a triathlon, put their £4.25 million Bel Air home on the market and signed up to appear in two big-budget Hollywood blockbusters.

What inspires her to run a triathlon? Jennifer Lopez was inspired when she was watching television during the time that she was still pregnant with twins Max and Emme, who were born in February.

A source revealed, “She is spending $40,000 on each nursery. They will all have gilded cribs and she wants them filled with the most chic furniture from Europe and embroidered linens from France, all in pink and blue.”
