The “Simple Life” star boasted that she lost 10 pounds from dancing. Perhaps she is dancing to the tune of Jay Z as she chanted familiar chant such as “H to the izzo. V to the izza.”

She included a blurry picture of a concert stage. Coincidentally, Jay-Z performed at L.A.’s Pauley Pavillion Sunday.

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have sparked rumors that they obtained a marriage license last week and made their union official in a secret wedding ceremony on October 14.

Although there is still no single evidence of the reported marriage has been available, the couple did not make any comment about the issue.
Calls made to their respective representatives for confirmation on the secret marriage report has not been returned yet.

Since the couple were together since 2006, they have two kids. The reality TV star and celebrity-socialite gave birth to their first child, daughter Harlow Winter Kate Madden, in January 2008. Their second child, son James Midnight Madden, was born last month.

Nicole Richie, who was involved in a car accident after she was rear-ended by paparazzi in Beverly Hills on Monday, was expected to seek medical attention.

The “Simple Life” star, who was driving around 2 p.m., was hit by two paparazzi. She complained of pain so she was expected that she will seek her own medical treatment. It was reported that Benji Madden came to her rescue.

The paparazzi, who was involved in the car accident, were later arrested and booked for being unlicensed drivers. Perhaps his violation would be a misdemeanor traffic violation and his vehicle is set to be towed.

Nicole Richie reportedly entered a Los Angeles medical facility to prepare for the birth of her second child.

The “Simple Life” star waited until she had paid her respects to ex-fiance Adam ‘DJ AM’ Goldstein in Los Angeles last Wednesday afternoon (02Sep09) to check herself into the maternity ward.

Her boyfriend Joel Madden recently revealed Richie’s second pregnancy has been much easier than her first – and insisted the couple wouldn’t know the baby’s gender until it was born.

A report indicated that the couple plan to marry on Christmas Eve.

“Joel and Nicole want to make Christmas their special family holiday,” disclosed an insider.

While the details are still being finalized, the nuptials will be an intimate evening affair at the Bel-Air mansion of Nicole’s dad Lionel Richie.

“Nicole and Joel are determined to keep things quiet and low-key,” said the insider. “And Nicole’s taken the reins – planning everything, right down to helping design her bridal gown.

“She is also thrilled about the date they chose, because she’ll have time to lose the baby weight.”

The 27-year-old former Simple Life star is due to give birth to her second child later this summer.

Nicole and Joel have been dating since late 2006 and have frequently butted heads over when, if ever, to tie the knot.

In March, it was reported that Nicole surrendered in a long-running baby battle with Joel by agreeing to have another baby before their wedding. She was finally able to convince Joel, 30, to walk down the aisle by promising to keep it relatively small and to schedule the event for the holidays.

“For Joel, Christmas has always been about family and faith,” explained the insider. “Marrying Nicole at that time of year makes the event so much more spiritual and special to him.

Nicole has asked her four BFFs – Paris and Nicky Hilton, Rashida Jones and Masha Gordon – to be her bridesmaids. Joel has asked his twin brother Benji to be best man. The couple’s daughter, 19-month-old Harlow, will serve as flower girl, along with Nicole’s half sister Sofie.

The event will be catered with organic and locally sourced food, with vegan options. And a three-tiered wedding cake is coming from Nicole’s favorite Los Angeles bakery, Sweet Lady Jane.

Joel is adamant about keeping the guest list to no more than 50 people. Among the few celebrities to be invited are longtime friend DJ Samantha Ronson and actor Tobey Maguire and his wife Jen Meyer.

Nicole and Joel will spend Christmas day with their two babies and extended family. They’ll then jet off for a two-week Hawaiian honeymoon.

“Nicole has been dreaming of this day for years, and she’s taking care of every little detail,” added the insider.

“Please save my baby!” Terrified that she was going into premature labor, Nicole Richie pleaded for help from boyfriend Joel Madden when she was overcome with severe stomach pains during a night on the town recently, according to the sources.

“They were out to dinner in Los Angeles on one of their regular weekly date nights when Nicole felt shooting pains in her abdomen,” confided an insider. “She told Joel she felt dizzy and nauseous.

“Her deepest fear was that she was going into early labor and might lose the baby, and she freaked out because she felt so weak she thought she was going to faint. At one point, she screamed out to Joel, ‘I’m really scared! Please save my baby!’”

Nicole told Joel she wanted to go home to their house in the Hollywood Hills – and that if the pain didn’t go away, they would head to the hospital, says the insider.

Nicole had good reason to be alarmed.

“With her history of drug addiction and health issues, Nicole couldn’t shake the thought that something had gone seriously wrong with the pregnancy,” said the insider.

Nicole Richie is a “huge” fan of Britney Spears.

The 27-year-old socialite was thrilled to see her idol in concert in Los Angeles last Friday (17.04.09), revealing the evening was one of the best of her life.

Nicole wrote on her blog: “Friday night I went to the Britney Spears concert and had the time of my life! I have been a huge Britney fan since I was 16 and have been to all of her concerts. I think I went to five shows of her last tour.”

Nicole, who has 15-month-old daughter Harlow with her partner Joel Madden, and is currently pregnant with the couple’s second child, added she was impressed by the show, but was disappointed she didn’t get a better photograph of Britney on stage.

She wrote: “I have been looking forward to seeing her back on stage for years, and it was amazing! It was really hard to get pictures because she never stood still. I yelled and asked her to, but she was too busy tending to her 50,000 other fans . “Here’s some of my favourite pictures, it was the best concert I’ve seen in a while. No one puts on a show like Britney! (sic)”

Britney is performing her ‘Circus’ world tour, her first series of shows since 2004.

Nicole is not the only famous face to have seen Britney in concert. Rihanna, Lindsay Lohan, Victoria Beckham, Queen Latifah, Avril Lavigne, Jaime King and Rosie O’Donnell have also been spotted at her shows.

Nicole Richie and her rocker boyfriend Joel Madden are reportedly planning to wed after learning they are expecting their second child.

News of a wedding has been welcomed by Richie’s pop star father Lionel Richie – but he admits he is never kept up to date with the lovers’ plans.

He laughed: “I’m the first one to pay for it and the last one to know!”

Nicole Richie thinks Joel Madden is a “superdad”.

The “Simple Life” star, who has a one-year-old daughter, Harlow, with the Good Charlotte rocker, insisted he is the best father she has ever seen.

She said: “When you’re parents you have to make every decision together, so you become a team. I can wholeheartedly say that he’s the best dad I’ve ever seen. He’s as good as my dad Lionel. Joel and my dad are really close. Joel is superdad.”

The 27-year-old socialite has stopped partying since giving birth, but says she is busier than ever.

In addition to raising Harlow, Nicole is expanding her jewellery range, House of Harlow 1960, writing her second novel, working on an album and producing a TV show based on her first book ‘The Truth About Diamonds’.

She continued: “I love every day of it. I’m a Virgo so I’m very good at scheduling. I do a lot of my work at night and between her naps. I think you just take one day at a time.

She added: “I feel changed in the sense that I’m older and any woman who’s a mother obviously experiences change. I’m not perfect, but I enjoy every minute of it.”

Nicole Richie and boyfriend Joel Madden are expecting another child, barely a year after the arrival of daughter Harlow Winter Kate Madden last Jan. 11.

In a message on the Web site of Good Charlotte, the band he fronts, Madden, 29, wrote: “I am so happy to tell everyone that Harlow is going to be a big sister! God has truly blessed my family. Hope [you're] all feeling as good as i am right now.” Madden’s message is titled “Better than winning an OSCAR!”

After a famously wild childhood, Richie, 27, credited the birth of daughter Harlow for leading her to a more tranquil life at home with Madden, saying: “She gives life a whole new meaning.”

Representatives for Madden and Richie did not immediately return calls for comment.
