Pamela Anderson recently posed for a PETA campaign entitled “Cruelty Doesn’t Fly,” in which she acts as a scantily-clad airport security guard who strips passengers of their leather and fur.

The organization intended to debut the spot in airports but it was the quirky commercial that was given the no-fly zone as the new ad campaign was viewed as too raunchy to run.

The “Baywatch” star defended the ad and thought that the as is funny and it draws attention to something that’s really ugly and abusive. Meanwhile, Pamela is busy as she prepare for her Andy Warhol-inspired cruelty free fashion line with Richie Rich and her non-animal tested perfume “Malibu.”

Pamela Anderson, who previously wrote royal letter, wanted to give President-elect Barack Obama and outgoing President George W. Bush the same present this Christmas.

The former “Baywatch” star is planning to send them a copy of her favorite inspirational book.

Pamela is such a fan of Ingrid Newkirk’s new book “One Can Make A Difference”. The 41-year-old actress will buy the copies of the book, and she’ll be sending one each to Obama and Bush.

She revealed: “I’ve found a wonderful book I’m giving everyone… It’s a collection of 50 inspirational essays – not boring ’strive to be better’ sayings, but real-life stories that are truly amazing.”

Pamela also reveals that some of the essays have touched her heart, saying: “Some of the essays had me crying.”

Furthermore, the actress mentions some of the essays in Newkirk’s book. Pamela continued: “It has essays by a woman who started the first breast milk bank in India, a girl born without feet who now runs marathons, a man who saved kids in a South American village by starting a shoe drive for them.”

And Pamela believes the book will be a welcome addition to the Obama and Bush libraries, adding: “I’m sending a copy of the book to the Obamas and, what the hell, to Mr. Bush, too, since he’ll need ways to pass the time, because it is exactly the theme for our next White House: one can make a difference!”

Pamela Anderson sent a letter to Holland’s Queen Beatrix, calling for a complete ban on fur farming.

The actress, who is a staunch animal rights campaigner, wrote during a visit to the country and praised the country’s stance on fur farming but asked for more action to be taken.

In an open letter published on her website, the former “Baywatch” star wrote: “I was thrilled to learn from PETA and Bont voor Dieren that Holland has banned several kinds of fur farming, and I hope you will consider enacting a ban on all types of fur farming.”

She continued: “The majority of Dutch citizens are opposed to wearing fur, and a ban on fur farming would be such an enormous inspiration for other countries and animal lovers around the world.”

The actress is in Holland attending a luxury goods trade show, the Millionaire Fair, and says she hopes she can encourage more people to opt for fur-free products.

She added: “I hope my presence at the Millionaire Fair will encourage people to consider that you can have a look that kills without killing, and that nobody should support the idea of gassing, strangling, or electrocuting animals – especially for a luxury item. I hope the next time I visit will be to celebrate a complete Dutch ban on fur farming.”

Pamela Anderson has joined the animal rights activists at People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) to encourage A-list stars to shun fashion designer Giorgio Armani.

The blonde animal rights activist is rallying for the organization’s disapproval of the Italian designer, after he reportedly fell through on his promises to PETA last year to drop fur from his clothes.

PETA President Dan Matthews tells the New York Post that Anderson will reveal plans on Saturday in Italy to put “stars who attend Armani shows in the hot seat”, urging them to wear the red carpet creations of other designers during the upcoming awards season.

The PETA president also revealed: “We feel betrayed. I have met with Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger and many other designers who once used fur but had a change of heart, and not one of them broke their promise.”

She has also actively campaigned against Kentucky Fried Chicken. In 2001, Anderson released a letter in support of PETA’s campaign against Kentucky Fried Chicken, stating “What KFC does to 750 million chickens each year is not civilized or acceptable.”

She later made a video about KFC’s treatment of chickens and she has also campaigned against seal hunting in her native Canada.

Pamela Anderson believes she will cure the Hepatitis C virus she contracted from former husband Tommy Lee.

The former “Baywatch” beauty announced in the year 2003 that she would not survive more than 10 or 15 years.

However, now she has insisted that she might cure the liver disease because her routine check ups are suggesting that she is getting healthier.

She revealed, “Every time I get tested my doctors tell me I am getting healthier. I believe I’m going to cure my Hepatitis C.”

The 40-year-old actress also previously canceled her 10 million dollar deal with a strip club joint because of the fear that it would harm her reputation.

The sexy actress has scrapped plans to be recreated as a 40-foot (12-meter) sign advertising a strip club over fears the move would hurt her reputation.

The deal, which was believed to be worth $10 million (£5 million), would have seen a giant likeness of the former Baywatch star straddling a car wash in Las Vegas to promote the nearby Burning Bush Club.

But the actress reneged on her decision to appear as the ‘body’ of the strip joint after meeting with tycoon and bar owner Dennis DeGori.

Kid Rock doesn’t regret divorcing Pamela Anderson after realizing that he didn’t love her.

The singer, who appeared on a U.S. radio show about his fight with Pam’s former husband, Tommy Lee, also make a comment on his divorce.

He revealed, “The best thing I ever did. I went through what I went through, and there’s no doubt it wasn’t love – we went through all these things, but then coming out of it pretty much unscathed.”
