Princess Beatrice’s advisors are afraid that Katie Price is going to be a bad influence on her.

The 21-year-old princess and the glamour model, also known as Jordan, will both attend charity event Bloodlust Ball at London’s Hampton Court on October 31. And concern of the princess being associated with the controversial star had sparked.

Her advisors are worried on how it would look if they are spotted drinking together so efforts are being made to keep them in separate areas of the party all night.

The 20-year-old royal – who is fifth in line to the throne – lived in an apartment in St James’ Palace for her first year of student life at London’s Goldsmiths College, where she is studying for a BA in History and History of Ideas.

It is thought she didn’t want to take up a place in the college’s halls of residence or rent her own flat because of how much security would cost.

However, the major renovations she ordered in Apartment No 2 – which was previously occupied by a senior royal official – ended up being even more expensive.

Before Beatrice – the eldest daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson – moved in, the whole flat was redecorated, complete with a new kitchen and bathroom and timber flooring in the two main reception rooms.

Justifying the cost of renovating the apartment, a senior official told Britain’s Daily Mail newspaper: “It was very unimpressive and last decorated a long, long time ago’.

“We had been hoping to do the work for some time but had to wait until the existing tenant moved out.

“People have this image of what a palace apartment looks like but the reality is very different. It is a small set of attic rooms reached only by a spiral staircase of 60 steps.

“We used money from the government to undertake a basic programme of refurbishment and any extra requirements that were more personal to Princess Beatrice herself were paid by the Duke of York or the queen.”

Meanwhile,Dave Clark and Princess Beatrice were recently spotted as they attended The Ralph Lauren Sony Ericsson WTA Tour Pre-Wimbledon Party at The Roof Gardens on June 18, 2009 in London, England.

Princess Beatrice usually photographed coming out of a nightclub or even attending the odd fashion show, but today she made some time for royalty’s favorite sport, a polo match.

The 20-year-old royal and her boyfriend Dave Clark looked in high spirits as they attended the Polo In The Park Finals at London’s The Huntingham Club.

Dressed in a flattering beige mac and sensible black ballet pumps, Princess Beatrice was all-smiles as she walked hand-in-hand with her 24-year-old beau.

The bubbly Princess is not the first royal you would associate with the horse-playing sport.

Her cousin Zara is a talented equestrian and hopes to compete at the London Games in 2012.

While Beatrice remained a spectator, across town her other cousins, Princes William and Harry, were at the HAM Polo Club, although they were involved in the match.

Decked out in full polo-playing regalia, the princes looked in their element on the field.

Meanwhile, Princess Beatrice has started a summer job as a public relations officer at the Foreign Office – but turned up late on her first day.

She got stuck in a traffic jam in her chauffeur-driven car after an accident. Her car was not involved in the crash. Since then, Princess Beatrice has turned up on time at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in Whitehall.

A source said: “Beatrice thought that rather than swanning around on holiday all summer, she would rather work at a thrusting Government department. She is thoroughly enjoying her work in Whitehall.”

A Foreign Office spokesman said: “We never discuss individual employees.”

For whatever reason, Princess Beatrice has decided to weave her chestnut locks into a fashionable frontal plait.

The princess premiered her new look at a party in west London with boyfriend Dave Clark.

Daily Mail fashion editor Natalie Theo was all in favor of the 20-year-old princess’s tonsorial experiment.

She said: “You’ve got to hand it to Bea –she’s clearly not afraid to have a bit of fun and try out a new look. [Princess] Bea is beyond trendy with this style … at the autumn/winter Topshop show all the models sported Mad Max braided hair. So technically speaking Bea is six months ahead of the fashion game!”

Princess Beatrice, 20, is studying the History of Ideas at Goldsmiths College in New Cross, an area of south-east London more associated with shocking British artists such as Damien Hirst rather than British royalty.

She paired her look with a black leather jacket with a gold zip and a blue top. She has drawn a line, however, at roughing it too much and lives in an apartment at St James’ Palace rather than in halls.

Princess Beatrice recently became the first member of the Royal Family to appear in a feature film – Young Victoria, co-produced by her mother the Duchess of York – in a brief non-speaking role as a lady in waiting.

Princess Beatrice proved it’s a tall order being fifth in line to the throne as she stepped out in a pair of five-inch stilettos.

The 20-year-old princess and university student put on her party feet along with a blue dress and matching jacket as she enjoyed a night out in London yesterday.

Despite co-hosting a party for charity Children in Crisis at the Roger Vivier shoe boutique and later enjoying a four-hour dinner at the China Tang restaurant with friends, Princess Beatrice managed to totter around comfortably in the shoes for the entire evening.

She later revealed the secret to staying on her feet – heel pads.

She said: “I love high heels but Party Feet are better. They are little pads that go inside so that your feet don’t hurt.”

She added: “If the shoes are really beautiful, like Roger Viviers, then I don’t mind how high the heel is.”

Princess Beatrice has had plenty of practice partying in heels in recent months.

She has thrown herself into the student lifestyle since she began studying for a BA in History and History of Ideas at London’s Goldsmiths College.

Earlier this month she and sister Eugenie – fresh from their trip to Milan Fashion Week – joined their mother on the red carpet for the premiere of The Young Victoria.

Princess Eugenie is currently enjoying a gap year before she follows her older sister to university.

But the 18-year-old’s plans for a three-week trip around South America have been canceled after her father Prince Andrew raised concerns about her safety.

Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie were devastated last night after the husband of a favorite protection officer died in a skiing accident.

Inspector Michael Probert and wife Emma, who was a sergeant who looked after the Royals, had been on a break in the French resort of Alpe d’Huez.

But the 43-year-old inspector lost control of his skis and fell into a 10ft ditch at speed, banging his head on pack ice. He then suffered a heart attack.

An air ambulance mountain rescue team were brought in but he could not be saved.

It was revealed that Michael, from St Albans, Herts, was an inexperienced skier and was on low slopes considered safe for beginners.

Last night a Buckingham Palace source said Princess Beatrice, 20, and Princess Eugenie, 18, were very upset.

The source revealed: “They were informed of the accident and were both tearful to learn of the awful circumstances surrounding the incident.”

The source added: “Emma is one of their favorite personal protection officers and she had been talking to the girls about this skiing holiday for weeks. The girls plan to write messages of condolence to Emma.”

Princess Beatrice got in a bit of a tizz in London last night and completely forgot about her hired help, leaving them behind as she tried to hail a black cab home.

It’s perfectly reasonable to assume a night of partying may have had something to do with her making such an embarrassing mistake.

Beatrice, 20, had been in Cuckoo Club in Mayfair, and emerged at 1.15am looking a little bit bewildered.

An onlooker said: “[Princess] Beatrice looked dazed and confused when she left the club. Her security team thought she was with them but she wandered into Regent Street and tried to hail a cab.”

The onlooker added: “A security officer had to find her and tell her that she had a car waiting near the club, so she followed him to it.”

The fifth in line to the throne has not been going out much recently as has upcoming exams at Goldsmiths University, but clearly took a night off for a family birthday party.

The young Royal was with her sister Eugenie, 18, to celebrate their cousin Ayesha Makim and her boyfriend Steve Wood’s joint birthday party.

Ayesha, who will turn 23 next week, moved from Australia in 2005 to pursue a modelling career and now lives in Kensington.

An onlooker in the club added: “There was a dinner followed by dancing. There were buckets of champagne and Belvedere vodka on the tables. Both Princesses were getting really into the music and dancing like crazy.”

Perhaps Bea was tired and confused by her enthusiasm on the dancefloor.

Princess Beatrice was celebrating last night after her stolen BMW was found.

The black car — pinched by an opportunist thief while Bea, 20, nipped into a shop earlier this month — was found abandoned in Lambeth, South London.

Two windows had been smashed, but Bea was said to be “delighted” to get back her car — a 17th birthday gift from dad Andrew.

At that time, the 20-year-old princess was said to be upset and “extremely embarrassed” over the theft, which took place in broad daylight.

Princess Beatrice has had her car stolen after she left the keys in the unlocked car’s ignition while out shopping.

The 20-year-old royal’s £15,000 BMW, which has personalized number plates, was taken when she and her police protection officer went into a shop in Kensington, south London, with her, leaving the car unattended.

Princess Beatrice was said to be “extremely embarrassed” about the theft, which occurred yesterday (08.01.09) just after 9am in London.

A source close to her revealed: “She is naturally very shocked and upset. It is particularly embarrassing given that she is always accompanied by a police bodyguard.”

Princess Beatrice’s bodyguard instantly called for back-up when they discovered the car, which was a 17th birthday present from her father Prince Andrew, had been taken and they were quickly joined by a patrol car and Beatrice’s younger sister Princess Eugenie.

The two siblings went into a nearby pub, where manager Fei Hameed commented: “They looked very cool and it didn’t seem anything was wrong.”

The car is believed to contain a number of objects belonging to the princess, but palace sources have stressed that none of them are of a personal nature.

When Princess Beatrice’s Norfolk Terrier went missing three weeks ago the Royal Family was so upset even the Queen joined the search.

After the family had all but given up hope on finding Max he turned up at the Duke of York’s home in Windsor Great Park yesterday morning.

Max, who is a Christmas present seven years ago, was bedraggled, hungry, his left eye was half shut, but his tail was wagging when he walked into the house.

Princess Beatrice, 20, was at home when the dog returned. She burst into tears when she saw him.

The terrier disappeared from her father’s home, Royal Lodge, in Windsor Great Park three weeks ago. The family suspects that Max fell down a rabbit hole on the 5,000-acre estate.

A spokeswoman for the Duchess revealed: “Max is back. He was hungry, bedraggled, but is now snoozing contentedly in front of the fire. He is the best possible belated Christmas present.”
