Salma Hayek returned to the set for the first time since giving birth as she took on her role as Madame Truska in “The Vampire’s Assistant.”

The actress thought that transition back to work is easier becasue she could bring her daughter to the set, along with several members of her family. Perhaps getting back to work appeared easy compared to life at home with an active infant.

“The Vampire’s Assistant” – which hits theaters on October 23, seems a perfect movie for the actress and Salma revealed that the film is about youth, love and family.

Salma Hayek has reportedly slammed the speculation of having a tantrum at a Hollywood restaurant when she was turned away for failing to make a reservation.

The Frida actress is claimed to “freaked out” and “created a scene, yelling [in] Spanish” after she was informed that there were no tables available to accommodate her dinner party.

The representative of the actress denied the report and the article is not true. The spokesperson added that star’s family and friends were already seated in the restaurant and no screaming happened.

Salma Hayek has denied a claim by Batman producer Jon Peters that he had an affair with her.

The claim is made in a book proposal detailing his career and personal life that the 64-year-old is shopping.

“After several weeks of continued press coverage of Jon Peters’ upcoming book, I want to make something very clear,” Hayek says in a statement to EW website. “I have never dated nor had a romantic relationship with Mr. Peters. My name has been continually linked to his romantic liaisons, and I want to put a stop to this lie”

Peters produced Hayek’s 1999 action comedy Wild Wild West.

According to a report, much of Peter’s book proposal dwells on his claimed affairs and additionally names Barbra Streisand, Kim Basinger, Pamela Anderson, Nicolette Sheridan, Sharon Stone, and Catherine Zeta-Jones as past lovers.

This time, the couple made it a weekend-long celebration, starting with a cocktail party at Punta della Dogana, an art museum owned by the groom’s father, Francois Pinault.

Among those attending were actresses Charlize Theron, Penelope Cruz and Ashley Judd, plus U2 frontman Bono and Vogue editor Anna Wintour, as well as former French President Jacques Chirac.
