Usher recently called the police on soon-to-be ex-wife Tameka Raymond.

The R&B singer accused his former partner of going onto his property and scratching his car. No Tameka was found when law enforcement showed up to Usher’s house. No witnesses or evidence to validate Usher’s claim.

Usher called the cops again because Tameka was on his property and wouldn’t leave. But Tameka was not there as soon as the cops arrived.
Representative for Tameka revealed that this is only another attempt to disparage Tameka.

Usher’s latest confession is how he manages to remain fit and active: Milk!

The 30-year-old entertainer just released his new Got Milk? ad and the copy reads: “Let it flow. I pour my heart into my music. How do I stay in tune? With milk. The protein and nutrients in lowfat milk help me build muscle and stay fit. So eat right, exercise and grab a glass of ice-cold milk. Now that’s chill.”

To be an icon in Hollywood, Usher revealed: “You’ve got to do things like win Oscars and Grammys, but you’re nothing if you don’t have a milk ad!”

The R&B star, 30, also said his shoot for the Body By Milk campaign was “a lot of fun,” adding with a grin that his ad “makes me look taller.” The shoot was held in Las Vegas and coincided with recording for his new album where he says, “I would throw on a suit to go to the studio, to get in the mood.”

Due in October, the as-yet-unnamed album – the working title Monster was leaked, he says – will be “romantic at times,” and grittier at other times.

“It’s racy, risky and edgy and sometimes about personal experiences,” says Usher, whose private life of late has been shaken by a divorce filing. “I look at music like a diary.”

In between recording, Usher dotes on his babies: Usher Raymond V, 18 months, and Naviyd, 6 months, whom the singer calls “cherubs,” though his older son “is a little destructive. He broke an assistant’s phone yesterday,” Usher says with a laugh. “He was playing with it and he dropped it. Kids don’t understand how valuable cell phones are. You lose your phone, it’s like you lost everything!”

R&B singer Usher filed for divorce Friday from Tameka Foster Raymond, less than two years after their glitzy wedding at a Georgia resort.

The 30-year-old Grammy-winning artist, whose real name is Usher Raymond IV, filed the petition in Superior Court in Atlanta. Records posted to the court’s Web site did not give any details about the split between the R&B star and his wife, who were married in August 2007.

About 200 people attended the wedding between the two at resort built in the style of a 16th-century-style French chateau on 3,500 hilly acres outside Atlanta.

They have two young sons, 1 1/2-year-old Usher Raymond V and 6-month-old Naviyd Ely Raymond. His wife has three children from a previous marriage.

E-mail and telephone messages to Usher’s publicist were not immediately returned.

In a May 2008 interview with The Associated Press, Usher addressed negative feedback from bloggers over his relationship with his wife, who’s 8 years older than him and was once his stylist.

“People are so attracted to drama. That’s easier to take than a story of righteousness,” Usher said at the time.

“I decided to marry this woman, then I decide to be a father to my child,” he said. “… It’s not like I got caught with a gram of coke in my car or speeding or was caught for murder, so why would I be ridiculed, that’s why I don’t understand _ that’s the part that is mind boggling. Why would I be ridiculed for that, even a year later.”

Prior to the marriage, Usher had a string of public romances, most notably his three-year relationship with Chilli from TLC.

His hits include “Confessions,” “Burn,” “You Make Me Wanna” and “Yeah!”

R&B star Usher has apologized for reportedly urging Chris Brown to show “some remorse” over his alleged fight with Rihanna – accusing the media of taking his comments out of context.

The “Yeah!” singer was filmed looking at recent photos of Brown frolicking on a jet ski in Florida in a video for Jermaine Dupri’s Living the Life series.

Usher was apparently upset that Brown appears to be having fun less than a month after the reported altercation with girlfriend Rihanna in Los Angeles.

He remarked, “I’m a little disappointed in this photo. After the other photo (of Rihanna’s bruised face)! C’mon, Chris. Have a little bit of remorse, man. The man’s on jet skis? Like, just relaxing in Miami?”

But Usher insists he didn’t mean to cause any offence.

A statement from the star reads: “The comments made during a recent recording session amongst friends were taken out of context and blown out of proportion. I apologize on behalf of myself and my friends if anyone was offended. The intentions were not to pass judgment and we meant no harm. I respect and wish the best for all parties involved.”

Brown was charged with making criminal threats following the incident on 8 February (09) and is to be arraigned on Thursday (05Mar09).

Photos of Chris Brown smiling while skimming the surf on a Jet Ski this past Saturday, just weeks after he was arrested after allegedly assaulting Rihanna in Los Angeles, created a stir and at least one star is speaking out.

Usher reportedly said in a video clip on Jermaine Dupri ’s YouTube channel, Living The Life: “I’m a little disappointed in this photo. After the other photo [of a woman believed to be Rihanna , following the incident, was posted on TMZ]? C’mon, Chris. Have a little bit of remorse, man. The man’s on jet skis? Like, just relaxing in Miami?”

In the clip, which appears to have been taken down from the popular Web portal, Usher said Brown should “have some remorse” for the incident involving Rihanna .

The photos, which emerged over the weekend of Brown on the Jet Ski, were the first of the singing star since the incident.

As previously reported, Rihanna and Brown have reconciled and are once again romantically involved. They reportedly spent the weekend at a Star Island, Miami home owned by Sean “Diddy” Combs.

Usher’s publicist said the singer’s wife, Tameka Foster, is in stable condition after suffering complications from routine surgery in Brazil.

The couple married in August 2007 and are the parents of two boys, the younger of whom is 2 months old. Foster also has three sons from a previous relationship.

The recording artist’s representative revealed: “(Foster’s) husband, Usher, is with her at the hospital. No further details will be released, and the family requests privacy at this difficult time.”

It was reported that Foster had recently undergone cosmetic surgery.

Usher scrapped his scheduled performance at Saturday night’s pre-Grammy Gala because of the family emergency.

Usher is dealing with a family crisis. Record mogul Clive Davis shocked guests at his annual star-studded pre-Grammys party Saturday night when he announced that the R&B superstar would not be performing as planned.

Davis, president of Usher’s J Records label, announced that the entertainer and his mother phoned earlier to cancel his rehearsal and subsequent performance at the Beverly Hilton because of a “serious illness in the family.”

On Sunday, Davis, Sony Music Worldwide’s chief creative officer, revealed: “I talked to his mom. My thoughts are with them, whatever they’re facing.”

Representatives for Usher declined to comment or elaborate on the sad news, but a source close to the 30-year-old denies rumors that his wife, Tameka Foster, 37, had died following plastic surgery. Access Hollywood does report, however, that Foster did suffer complications from a cosmetic procedure in Brazil.

The couple have been married since August 2007 and have two children. Foster formerly worked as Usher’s stylist.

Usher has become one of the first celebrities to join with the millions celebrating Barack Obama’s election as the 44th President of the United States.

The singer declared: “Isn’t this incredible news? Isn’t this incredible news Billy? Man, this is incredible. It’s so incredible to see that this historical thing has happened, man. Before it was a thought of what happens if he doesn’t win. The public service that went into this and the encouragement that came out of it, it’s just incredible to see it happen.”

Usher, who helped campaign for the democratic senator from Illinois, said the election of President Obama is a watershed moment in the history books.

The singer continued: “This will go down in history, in black history for all of the sacrifices that the great Joseph Lowery and Martin Luther King made, this actually pays off for their sacrifice. The great Rosa Parks… So many people sacrificed for us to have a voice. It was one thing to have a voice, but to eventually know the best way to use it and then it grows into this, it’s just incredible. I’m speechless. I don’t even know what to say.”

The singing superstar said he was thrilled to join in celebrating Obama’s win as he added: “I’m proud to be an American right now.”

If it appears that had the election gone another way, Usher was actually prepared to take flight as he revealed: “In the event that he didn’t win, I planned on leaving this country. I did. I did, but that’s obviously not the case.”

Usher seems to include in the list of celebrities with a mom-ager after reports indicated that the singer rehires his mother.

His representative revealed in a statement Wednesday: “Usher has dissolved his management arrangement with Benny Medina and has re-engaged Jonnetta Patton as his manager.”

Usher was disappointed that his CD “Here I Stand” sold 433,000 copies in its first week, compared with his last CD, 2004’s “Confessions,” which had sales of 1.1. million its first seven days.

A source revealed: “People have been telling Usher to listen to his mother. Nobody knows how to sell him better than she does.”

But the 29-year-old new dad explained, “I decided to not fire, not get rid of, but to give [my mother] the ultimate compliment — to retire her to be a full-time grandmother.”

He continued: “My mother and I decided to change her situation, together,” he added. “There was a conversation. I didn’t write her a letter or pink slip her.”

Usher and Tameka Foster welcomed their son, Usher Raymond V, last November.

He added: “My son completes me. He changes my perspective on what life is, and what matters.”

Usher has married stylist Tameka Foster in a low-key ceremony held in Atlanta over the weekend.

According to a report, Usher exchanged vows with Tameka Foster in his lawyer’s office.

The couple had planned a large wedding in New York, but this was cancelled after Usher’s new bride had a pregnancy scare.

Reports of the wedding first appeared in the Chicago Sun-Times that said the wedding occurred late last Friday.

They are expecting their first child later this year and Ms Foster has revealed that she had been pushing herself “way too hard”.

She added, “But I am fine and the baby is fine.”
