Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens became the center of speculation that they broke up according to National Enquirer report.

The story, which is entitled “Zac and Vanessa Finished”, suggested that the pair call it quits and Vanessa just doesn’t know it yet. But the source close to the couple dished that they are doing just fine and they spent months together up in Vancouver.

The source added that things are going well with the couple and they are happy.

After arriving back home recently, Vanessa Hudgens was seen out for morning work duties in Hollywood on October 24.

It was clear that the “High School Musical” actress is not in the mood to be photographed as she quickly made her way past paparazzi when she headed into a local office building for a business meeting.

Vanessa was previously filmed her new flick “Suckerpunch.” She was able to sneak in a few date with Zac Efron during the course of her Canadian stay.

Vanessa Hudgens appeared beautiful as she jetted in to LAX international on October 23 on a 6.30am flight out of Vancouver where she has been filming Sucker Punch.

The actress was sporting a black coat atop a blue full sleeve shirt dress and black tights. Although she seems a bit sleep deprived, she looked pretty without make-up.

The 20-year-old star is taking a well deserved break for the weekend after a busy filming schedule for Sucker Punch. Rumors sparked that Vanessa will have nude scenes in the all female cast film but it was denied as the actress is going to kick some butt in the film.

Zac Efron, who started early for his birthday celebrations, and Vanessa Hudgens were seen as they watched the Vancouver Giants hockey game on October 16.

An onlooker dished that Vanessa was sporting a Giants jersey. The couple watched the game from a private box in the arena. The Vancouver Giants played the Prince George Cougars and won the game with 8-0.

Their good friend Lucas Grabeel wrote that Vancouver rocks. He added that he saw Zac and Vanessa as they were all in the same place making different flicks.

Vanessa Hudgens, who was sporting a strapless dress, was spotted at the Fresh Faces of Music Event in Hollywood on Saturday afternoon (September 26).

The “High School Musical” star was seen with Hayden Panettiere as they checked out the Neutrogena products in the said event.

She dished the scoop that she could now lift 155 pounds, with a little help from Sucker Punch training. She added that Jamie [Chung] came into training a little bit later than she did, so there is no comparison who could do better.

Vanessa Hudgens, who wanted to want to grow like everybody else, revealed that her private photos are private things and she is not comfortable to do nudity in a film.

In her recent flick, “Bandslam”, the “High School Musical” star played a “darker” character that people aren’t used to seeing her play. She described her role in Sucker Punch as her “Angelina Jolie” part because she could have guns and fight big men.

Her role model include Angelina Jolie, Halle Berry and Catherine Zeta-Jones.

Zac Efron was reported to be afraid to tell girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens that he wants his space so that’s why he hasn’t been answering her phone calls.

While shooting the film “The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud” in Vancouver, the “17 Again” actor cares about Vanessa but he is thinking of dating other girls.

Friends are urging Zac to do the right thing, which is end the romance face to face. For the meantime, calls from Vanessa are believed to go straight to his voice mail.

Vanessa had to flee two female fans during a recent trip to New York, after they began passionately kissing her.

The actress stopped to sign autographs for the pair outside an MTV taping in Manhattan and agreed to hug them both for the snap – which is when the encounter took a more frightening turn.

Hudgens tells the New York Daily News, “It was these two girls in their mid 20s with tattoos and stuff. So they give me a hug and suddenly, I feel someone kissing my neck and this girl was making out with me, my neck!

She added: “I was like ‘oh my God!’ and I ran away as fast as I could. That’s my craziest fan story.”

Zac Efron has spoken out to quash speculation he’s engaged to girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens.

Britain’s News of The World newspaper on Sunday quoted Hudgens, 20, as saying, “We haven’t set a date and if we did we’d keep it secret for as long as possible.

“Why? What if one of us was offered a major film part? Then we’d have to postpone our marriage and people would say we’d split up. And we don’t want that.”

Reports earlier in the year claimed Efron proposed to Hudgens during a joint trip to Japan in late January.

“Zac is relieved to be out of the pressure cooker, because Vanessa’s mom Gina has been putting serious heat on him to make an honest woman of her daughter,” a source said at the time.

“She is old-school and doesn’t approve of Vanessa living with Zac without some type of wedding promise.

“Zac really loves the current arrangement. He adores Vanessa, and they gel really well together.

“Gina already considers Zac part of the family, so she’s happy that he proposed.”

But in a statement, a representative for Zac Efron insisted the engagement rumors are “not true.”

Bandslam star Vanessa Hudgens said she is playing a “darker” character in her new film that people aren’t used to seeing her play.

The 20-year-old, famous for her role as Gabriella in Disney film trilogy High School Musical, is playing the character of Sa5m in new film Bandslam and she said it’s a different role than she’s used to.

Asked about her character, Hudgens said: “I always say, deadpan, introverted, kind of darker than people are used to seeing me as. Just wearing black the entire time – doesn’t really have any friends.”

She also spoke about how different the film is: “It’s not your average teen movie, it’s different. It has this 80s John Hughes vibe to it – it’s very Breakfast Club-y – it has a great message and there’s a lot of awesome music in it.
