David Archuleta became a keynote speaker at Senator Orrin Hatch’s 25th Annual Utah Conference for Women in Salt Lake City.
The “American Idol” alum, who was donning a black suit and tie matched with sneakers, engaged the crowd for just over 50 minutes as he talked about his career, remaining optimistic, and added in a little humor.
After his speech, David made an impromptu performance of “O Holy Night,” which earned him a standing ovation. Meanwhile Esmee Denters met David while performing at Murray Theater in Salt Lake City. She described as a very nice guy.
