David Cook thought Ellen DeGeneres has a good chance of making a winning debut as the fourth judge on the Fox reality competition.
Although David thought Paula Abdul could be irreplaceable since she was an integral part of the process for him, Ellen DeGeneres would be fine if she could pave her own way. He added that Ellen is funny but she also has opinions.
On frequent speculation about his love life and career, David shared that he just laughed all the stuff that is not true since the whole gig is about picking his battles.
Where would he be today without the chance from “American Idol,” he said that the path to where he is paved with a lot of people who are way better than he is who never got the shot. He just felt glad where he is.
