David Letterman, who was involved in a scandal, made a public apology to his wife Regina Lasko in his talk show taping Monday afternoon.
The talk show host revealed that his wife was horribly hurt by his behavior and it’s his responsibility to fix the situation. He also noted the tough time for his staff members his production company and he expressed that he was terribly sorry and he thanked them for their support.
Fortunately Letterman found time for dry humor. His guests Steve Martin and Martin Short both poked fun at Letterman, but also acknowledged the situation was no laughing matter.
