Ellen DeGeneres called to Ryan Seacrest’s morning show on KIIS FM in Los Angeles after announcing that she is going to be the fourth judge of the “American Idol.”
The talk show host hoped that Paula is okay as she filled the panel of judges of the show. She did not want anyone thinking that she took the job from Paula.
She admitted that she loves music and a fan of the show. As for her qualifications as a judge, Ellen pointed out that the winner is determined by regular folks watching at home, not industry experts, so she’ll be their voice. She is going to be a compassionate judge.
