Ellen DeGeneres became the Woman Of The Year by charity PETA for her work in raising awareness of their campaigns promoting a lifestyle which is friendly to nature.
The US television host was awarded the title by People For The Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) alongside Tim Gunn, who was Man Of The Year. Ellen received this accolade for being vegan and championing the meat and dairy-free lifestyle by inviting experts.
She was honored that PETA’s recognition and she thanked them for protecting animals every single day.
