Emma Watson: Refused To Sign For Last Harry Potter Film?
Emma Watson, the star from the movie “Harry Potter” has refused to sign up for the last two installments in the series, despite being offered 2 million pounds per film to reprise her role as Hermione Granger.
The 16-year-old actress is said to be tired of her playing Harry Potter’s know-it-all friend and she wanted to try new projects. It was also reported that a stalker followed her into school and managed to talk to her before being warned off campus last week. Since the incident happens, Emma Watson has a private bodyguard.
Rupert Grint, the co-star of Emma Watson, revealed, “Emma doesn’t want to do it any more. She’s tired of being known as, ‘that girl from Harry Potter.’”
However, a spokesperson for the Hollywood Studio revealed, “We’re extremely confident that Emma will be back for films six and seven.”
The fifth installment in the saga based on JK Rowling’s books, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, is expected in United Kingdom cinemas in July. The sixth installment, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, should arrive the following year.

I think Emma should play Hermione in the last two she’s my favorite character in the HP movies. It just wouldn’t be Harry Potter without her.

Although it is Emma’s choice whether or not she does the last two movies but, it sure wouldn’t be the same without her. Theres a quote that relates to her standings right now… “Never start something your not going to finish.” I think she should do the last two movies, her fans are counting on her. Emma has nothing to lose just gain 4 million pounds form doing both movies. In the end I will still respect her as who she is and her choices and would be great full to see her in up coming films.

I agree with Amanda. Sure, its her choice, but without Hermione Granger what are they going to do? They just can’t put another girl in there … it won’t be the same. If they do, I know a lot of fans will be disappointed and I will too.
Having read all the books and seen all the movies, she does an amazing job.
People already refer to her as “the girl from Harry Potter” and its not like they’ll stop even if she doesn’t do the last two installments. And like Amanda said… all she has to gain is 4 million pounds. Not only that but she gets to go to work each day with the stunning Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint. It’d be great if she did the last two… but I think she will.
