The fans of Britney Spears, who attended her first Australian concert, criticized the singer for miming and performing with her back to the audience.
The pop singer performed her Circus show in front of 17,000 fans in Perth but many walked out after the first three songs and claimed that her show was not worth the $200 they had paid.
Britney mimed most of her songs on stage, singing only on ballads. The lack of big screens and taking the focus away from her rigid performance – left many in the cheap seats fuming. Fans also complained that the singer spent large portions of the in-the-round show with her back to them.
