Duchess Kate will join Prince William and his family at Sandringham House for the holiday.
Festivities will start on Christmas eve, when gifts are exchanged and the royals will follow German tradition. And keeping with Queen’s frugality, the gifts are normally fun rather than expensive. Parade to church will happen on Dec. 25. Perhaps the Duchess of Cambridge will wear something special for Christmas Eve cocktails and dinner and another dress for Christmas morning, which include breakfast, walk to church, traditional lunch of turkey or game and a vast array of seasonal vegetables. Evening dress for dinner and the inevitable parlor games. On Dec. 26, Duchess Kate will be on the pheasant shoot.
