Ellen DeGeneres was wooed to be the fourth judge in American Idol, according to ‘Idol’ judge Randy Jackson.
Randy thought that they reached out to Ellen since all of them are friends with Ellen. He also believed that the new judge will bring something new to the show as she could be the voice of the people.
Although Randy is excited to welcome the new judge, he showed regret over Abdul’s sudden departure. He added that things happen, life is full of change sometimes and he still sad about that.
