Jennifer Hudson Won Oscar in Best Supporting Actress Category
Jennifer Hudson, a former “American Idol” finalist, won best supporting actress in the recent 79th Annual Academy Awards. She won the Oscar for her first movie role as the lead singer in the movie “Dreamgirls”. Her role in the movie also earned Golden Globe and Screen Actor Guild awards.
Jennifer Hudson said, “Oh my God, I have to just take this moment in. I cannot believe this. Look what God can do. I didn’t think I was going to win.” She added, “If my grandmother was here to see me now. She was my biggest inspiration.”
