Joana Krupa responded to the controversies that sparked over her advertisement for People for the Ethical Treatment for Animals campaign entitled “Be An Angel for Animals.”
The 30-year-old model thought it is understandable that the Catholic League is wary of scandal but the sex they are discussing is related to dogs and cats. She added that she was doing what Catholic Church should be doing, which is working to stop senseless suffering of animals.
The Catholic League criticized two Joanna Krupa’s ads for PETA. One ad showed the Polish model as a nude winged angel to lobby against animal breeding and the purchase of animals in pet store as well as one ad appeared the model holding a strategically placed crucifix.
