John Mayer will have to fork out $25,000 to hand the amount to charity because he lost a bet over his criminal record.
The musician bet TMZ editors that they could not find his mug shot after his arrest in 2001 for driving with a suspended license.
He made an offer to donate the amount to a charity of TMZ editor’s choice. Unfortunately, the resourceful journalists found his incriminating snap and Mayer’s money will go to an animal charity.
