Johnny Depp has sparked speculation that Disney is going to replace him as the star of the “Pirates of the Caribbean.” But the spokesperson from the Disney cleared the rumors.
A spokesperson from Disney denied the reports and called the rumors as “completely unfounded.” The rumors, which suggested that Depp might not reprise his role as Captain Jack Sparrow in the film’s next installment, has been circulating after the studio chief Dick Cook parted ways with the studio earlier this month.
Johnny Depp previously credited Cook for his involvement of the Pirates franchise and revealed that his enthusiasm for a fourth film had waned with the news of Cook’s abrupt departure from the studio.
