Jon Gosselin discovered his apartment had been burglarized when he returned to New York after spending Christmas in Pennsylvania.
His lawyer Mark Jay Heller revealed that the reality star was horrified to observe that his furniture, clothing and personal belongings, which were slashed with a butcher knife. A note was found into his wooden dresser.
Some of his things, including television, CD player, coffee maker, a Nintendo Wii game and dishes, pots and pans, were stolen from his apartment. Some of his clothing, luggage and bedding was slashed. The motive was for the break-in is still uncertain.
