Kara DioGuardi, who was a new judge on the last Idol season, admitted that she is thrilled and excited to have Ellen on the show.
The songwriter hoped that the comedian could convince Justin Timberlake into being on the show. She learned that Ellen is going to be on Idol from her manager while she is on the plane to New York on Wednesday night.
She dished some reason why Ellen would be a great addition to the show: Ellen has incredible and positive attitude as well as being a lover of music and a die hard fan of the show. She added that Ellen knew how to give people a true sense of who she is.
