A hoax video that showed Michael Jackson coming out of a coroner’s van was an experiment that proved conspiracy theories could spread in the Internet.
The video showed that a coroner’s van entering what seems like a parking garage and Michael Jackson getting out of the back with another person. Unfortunately, many people think the video was true even though the lighting is bad, the sound muffled and the footage appears amateurish. The RTL admitted that the video is a hoax in an Aug. 26 report.
Some Jackson fans were upset by the the German broadcaster’s actions but the RTL spokesman clarified that they did not want to dishonor the late singer but they need a popular figure to continued the experiment.
