Miley Cyrus was viewed as a lousy role model after she was voted Worst Celebrity Influence of 2009 in a new online poll conducted by AOL’s JSYK (Just So You Know).
The “Hannah Montana” star beat out other celebrities like Britney Spears and rapper Kanye West. She earned 42 percent of the votes in the poll.
No specific reasons were given for such honor, but in a year during which she was accused of racism and roundly criticized for pole dancing at the Teen Choice Awards, perhaps it is not a surprise.
