Australian singer Natalie Imbruglia has brushed off the rumor that she had a special romance with Prince Harry after his split from longterm girlfriend Chelsy Davy.
Convincing that she had no further relationship than just friendship, the Oz beauty said: “Chelsy’s got nothing to worry about.”
Then, she added: “He was at my party, that’s it. I met him for about two seconds.”
Imbruglia, who ended her marriage with Silverchair front man Daniel Johns in January 2008, was linked to the 24-year-old prince after she invited him to come to her 34th birthday bash at London’s upmarket Kensington Roof Gardens on February 4. Since then, the twosome was reported in a regular contact via text messages.
In related news, Chelsy Davy has been trying to take Prince Harry back to her arms. It was believed that Davy has invited Harry on a student pub crawl which is going to be held next April along with her friends from Leeds University. “You don’t just take anyone. Chelsy really wants Harry to be there and for them to be seen as a couple again,” a friend of Davy confirmed to News of the World. “She’s missed him more than she thought she would.”
