Although the cause of Boyzone star’s death this weekend is yet to be determined by the authorities, new details has been uncovered. A report indicated that Spanish police are looking for a third man who was at Stephen’s apartment in Majorca, Spain when the singer was found dead.
The man, who was a Bulgarian named Giorgio, was said to be invited by Stephen and his partner Andrew Cowles to come to their apartment after they met at a nightclub. It is uncertain if Giorgio had left the flat before Stephen died. Police believed that his testimony could be vital.
Andrew tried to revive the singer through mouth-to-mouth resuscitation but failed. It is believed that the singer died after choking on his own vomit following a drinking session. An autopsy will be performed on October 13.
