Even the large Japanese chef’s knife pinning a note, allegedly from Hailey, to a dresser appeared to be staged. Although there is skepticism, the investigation into the break-in is still open.
The criminal complaint was filed after Jon said he found his New York apartment ransacked Dec. 26 and blamed former girlfriend Hailey. On the other hand, Hailey filed a police complaint accusing Jon of assault.
