Although Prince William has yet to propose to Kate Middleton, a wedding in 2012 is talked about at Buckingham Palace to coincide with the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
A source claimed that the Queen would be delighted if Prince William and longtime girlfriend Kate will tie the knot to coincide with her diamond celebrations. The date could also suit William, who has said he is in no hurry to marry.
A source added that there are quite a few people who would like to see a wedding date in 2012. But it will be Prince William’s decision in consultation with the Queen. A spokesman for Clarence House refused to make a comment about the issue.
