Prince William thanked Australian girls for continuing the tradition of kissing members of the Royal family in his farewell speech at Government House.
It was reported that the 27-year-old royal received a cheeky request when a 15-year-old schoolgirl Victoria Downie requested a kiss from him. Prince William replied: “Certainly, go for it.” The kissing incident was captured in a photo, which circulated around the world.
In his farewell speech, Prince William shared that his father got a kiss from an Australian beauty, which happened in 1979 in Perth. The young royal thought that it is good to see this tradition is continuing.
