Robert Pattinson, who was rumored to have split from his co-star Kristen Stewart, found it easy to play Edward Cullen in New Moon because he could relate to the character.
The British actor felt really relaxed and found it easy to get back into New Moon. He said that he could relate to the emotions in it such as he feels himself making the wrong decision about leaving Bella behind.
He added that he knew that a guy do that a lot in relationships. It appeared that guy compelled to mess it up. He understood why Edward was doing that because he is always messing up in real life.
