“American Idol” Creator Simon Fuller Reportedly Set To Quit The TV Talent Show

Simon Fuller is going to follow Simon Cowell off the “American Idol” stage as the creator of the hit television talent show will quit when the ninth season ends.

Simon, who is also a former Spice Girls boss, is reportedly planning to start his own entertainment production company as he stepped down as an executive at CKX Inc. – the company which owns his 19 Entertainment as well as a majority stake in Elvis Presley’s Graceland mansion.

The music mogul will also leave behind 19 Entertainment, the company he founded in 1985. Fuller sold the firm to CKX in 2005 for $500 million. Meanwhile, Simon Fuller is part of a new TV talent show as a report suggested that he will join blogger Perez Hilton in a search for a new boy band.
