Johnny Depp is going to receive $55m to return as Captain Jack Sparrow in a fourth Pirates Of The Caribbean movie.
The actor’s fee is reportedly more than double the amount usually paid to A-list stars. It is believed that Disney executives thought that the deal is going to save them money because Johnny originally wanted a percentage of the movie’s profits.
The fourth movie, Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides is expected to be released in the summer of 2011.
