Kate’s lawyer disclosed that Jon Gosselin made unauthorized withdrawal of $200,000 from their bank account, which means Jon violated an arbitrator’s rules and he could be found in contempt of court.
Although the court said that taking significant amounts from joint account required other’s approval, celebrity lawyer Marty Singer revealed that Jon did not tell Kate that he was going to remove the large sum of money from their account last week.
Singer, who is a litigation attorney for Kate, Kate was upset when she received overdraft notices regarding her joint account with her estranged husband. She also learned that Jon removed $200,000, leaving $1,000 in the account.
Calls to Jon’s lawyer were not returned.
