Michael Jackson’s body will be interred at Forest Lawn Glendale in a discreet ceremony.
His final resting place will be a marble and mortar mausoleum will a hidden monument and he is to be buried close to two of his idols – Walt Disney and Three Stooges actor Larry Fine.
Jackson was going to be entombed at the Great Mausoleum at Forest Lawn, but loved ones changed plans as they tried to get him near Disney and a Stooge because his family thought this is what Michael would have wanted.
The ceremony will begin with eulogies at the Great Mausoleum in front of the building’s stained-glass version of the Last Supper, followed by a half-mile procession to the Freedom Mausoleum.
