Michael Jackson ‘Suffered’ Media Bullying Over His Skin Color

Michael Jackson reportedly believed that he was bullied by the media because of the color of his skin, according to the recently- released taped interviews of the late singer.

The pop icon claimed that he was the victim of much media scrutiny because he was the first black star to win over a white audience. He cited [Harry] Belafonte, Sammy [Davis Jr], Nat King Cole as their music were loved by people without adulation and crying.

He felt that he was was the first one to break the ice to white girls. White press started the stories such as being gay, sleeping in a hyperbaric chamber, etc. He added that they tried the hardest to make people turned against him.
