Pink, who was a member of PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), called Prince William a “redneck” after being shocked by his response when she wrote to him why fox hunting is wrong.
The “So What” singer wrote to 27-year-old prince to protest about fox hunting. She figured that the prince would be stuffy and privilege a**hole but she described him as a redneck from the south.
Pink thought if a person is brought up shooting and hunting animals as well as thinking it is a second nature then that person need educating. She also penned a letter to Queen Elizabeth II but she did not receive any response.
