Angelina Jolie, most recently starred in the movie, “The Good Shepherd” has admitted that she became a target of a kidnapping plot on during her overseas trips. The 31-year-old actress refuses to give the identity of the kidnappers but she said that authorities in a foreign country made plans to abduct her.
Angelina Jolie revealed, “It was in a small village. I won’t say where, or with whom, but some gangsters planned to kidnap me and extort a massive ransom. “She added, “I was warned at the last minute, and managed to escape, luckily.”
Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie’s boyfriend, understood the expressed concern for the safety of their children Maddox, 5, two-year old Zahara, and nine-month-old Shiloh. It was reported that they also plan of adopting a child is on the way.
As for Angelina’s overseas trips, Angelina Jolie declares, “I don’t want to act like the Mother Teresa of Hollywood.” She added, “But I want to help where there is poverty and destruction. I love Brad very much and on our trips we pull together as a team. Things only get difficult when it affects our children.”
