Brittany Murphy’s autopsy was concluded on Monday afternoon and its results were deferred pending toxicology and neurological test results.
It was also reported that the autopsy was completed today, as it was scheduled to be, and there were no signs of trauma or foul play. Autopsy surgeons took a slice of Brittany’s brain for testing and the results will take 5-6 weeks to come through.
Brittany died suddenly Sunday morning at her Hollywood Hills home. Cause of death was listed as cardiac arrest but there is a possibility of a prescription drug overdose.
