A New York landlord sued the Mischa Barton as Landlord M.R.A. Realties Inc.claimed that the actress failed to pay three months worth of rent on her $7,000-a-month New York City apartment.
The 23-year-old actress reportedly rebuffed efforts to collect the last three months’ worth of rent on her flat in Tribeca neighborhood. The landlord wanted the actress to pay up the rent and the company’s legal fees.
Her representative declined to comment on the lawsuit but the representative confirmed that the actress will wrap work on “Law & Order: SVU” just in time for her 24th birthday on January 24.
