Prince William will wear a strikingly distinctive uniform of Colonel of the Irish Guards for his wedding to Kate Middleton on Friday.
The officer’s uniform composed of a scarlet jacket, a gold and crimson sash, gold sword slings and a forage cap. The young royal will also wear Garter Sash with the Wings of the Royal Air Force, the Garter Star and the Golden Jubilee Medal. Prince Harry will wear the uniform of Captain of the Household Cavalry (Blues and Royals), which includes aiguillettes, a cross-belt and gold waist belt with sword slings, but no sword, and a forage cap. He will also wear Wings of the Army Air Corps and Golden Jubilee and Afghanistan campaign medals.
