Jennifer Aniston has been offered dating advice by the authors of ‘The Rules’.

Sherrie Schneider, who co-wrote the infamous dating manual with Ellen Fein, revealed that the former “Friends” Star should not have spoken publicly about her summer breakup from John Mayer, and should also keep quiet about her former husband Brad Pitt’s relationship with Angelina Jolie.

The author explained: “Breaking up is never easy, but it doesn’t have to be humiliating. Never mention Brad’s or John Mayer’s name in public. Also, don’t say any thing bad about John, like when you said he was missing a sensitivity chip [to Brad].”

Referring to Jennifer’s recent first interview about Angelina, during which she called the actress “uncool” for admitting she had started her relationship with Brad while he was still married, Sherrie Schneider added: “Never talk about Angelina or call her ‘uncool,’ even if she was uncool. She does not exist in your world.”

Ellen Fein also said Jennifer, who recently rekindled her relationship with John, should not wait before broaching the subject of starting a family with the “Gravity” singer, saying: “You are going to be 40 soon. You have no time to waste if you want kids.”
