Tom Cruise appeared on “The View” Friday for most of the hour. In addition to expressing strong condolences to the Travolta family during the interview, which taped on Thursday, he talked about daughter Suri.
Elisabeth asked what he thinks of Suri’s fame, and Cruise answered that he is torn. “It’s both very flatteringly and you go, ‘it is what it is.’”
He then told a story about going to see Katie Holmes (30 times and counting) in her play “All My Sons. Recently he has sat with Suri on his lap in the wings to watch, and Suri climbed out of his lap and inched her way towards the stage, batting away her dad’s hand when he tried to lure her back.
