Natalie Portman’s ring, which costs $35,000, was designed by fiancé Benjamin Millepied to include recycled platinum, an antique center stone and accenting pavé diamonds taken from a conflict-free mine.
The vintage-inspired ring reflects “Black Swan” actress’ preference for eco-friendly choices. The pavé stones’ conflict-free certification means no one was hurt or treated unfairly in their mining.
Natalie, who is expecting her first child this summer, is known for opting out of leather shoes and briefly launched a vegan shoe collection in 2008.
